There are major challenges related to acquiring market-ready skills for different sectors. There is lack of industry-faculty interaction which has resulted in the gap between the skills imparted and those acquired to be able to perform satisfactorily in a job market. As a result, though the youth acquire the skills, they might not get employment. Thus, it becomes critical that the industry professionals are also included in designing the skill development and training curriculum.
